With over 20 years experience working with diverse learners I also have a Masters of Education Degree in Special Education & received my ADAC distinction upon passing my ADA Coordinator Training Certification exam from the Great Plains ADA Center.

Examples of Support Services Offered
Transition Support Consulting for College-bound Students
- Provide individualized consultations to students with learning differences who are transitioning to college. Offer guidance on navigating the college accommodations application process, identifying appropriate accommodations, and accessing support services on campus.
- Help students develop self-advocacy skills, such as communicating their needs to professors and disability services offices, understanding their rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and utilizing available resources.
Workshops & Training Sessions for Parents, Educators, & School Staff
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate parents, educators, and school staff on the specific challenges faced by students with learning differences.
- Cover topics such as understanding the differences between K-12 and college accommodations, preparing students for the academic and social aspects of college life, and building a support network for students during their college journey.
Resource Recommendations
- Curate a collection of resources, including book recommendations, websites, and research articles that are individualized to specific needs.
Consulting on Accessibility, Accommodations, Equitable Access & Rights
- Offer coaching services to students, parents, and educators on understanding accessibility and accommodations.
- Consult on standardized testing accommodations & documentation requirements.
- Interpretation of evaluation reports and translation into recommendations to increase accessibility.
